Our advanced manufacturing company located 40 minutes north of Barrie, ON is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to support supplier performance, compliance, and delivery across a regulated production environment. This role ensures that external suppliers of components and assemblies meet defined quality, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with Supply Chain and internal stakeholders, the Supplier Quality Specialist will act as the primary interface with suppliers for technically complex programs, driving audit readiness, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product quality.
Compensation & Perks
Salary: $78,000â$95,000

Key Responsibilities
Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and qualification activities for current and existing suppliers
Ensure supplier compliance with quality systems and standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP)
Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics for quality, cost, and delivery
Drive corrective actions, RCCA, and FRACAS activities to prevent recurrence of issues
Lead supplier continuous improvement efforts using Lean methodologies
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
Maintain accurate supplier quality and compliance documentation
Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in a STEM or related technical field preferred
5+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or manufacturing
Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or equivalent quality systems
Solid analytical skills and experience with supplier audits and compliance
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Security Requirements
This role supports controlled technologies. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents , have resided in Canada for at least five consecutive years , and meet all applicable security clearance requirements.
