The Role
We are seeking a Multi-Location Home Center Manager to oversee the performance, operations, and team development across two retail centers. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, achieving financial targets, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple retail locations, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives
- Develop and execute short- and mid-term strategies in line with overall business goals
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and team members across locations
- Monitor and drive performance across key metrics including sales, margin, expenses, and inventory
- Ensure operational excellence in pricing, inventory management, and in-store standards
- Maintain strong communication across teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
- Collaborate with division leaders to implement company policies and procedures consistently
- Address operational challenges and implement effective, solutions-driven outcomes
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure accuracy, integrity, and healthy stock levels
- Ensure proper invoicing processes and operational compliance across all locations
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where needed
- Maintain store standards including housekeeping and facility upkeep
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of management experience
- Background within lumber, hardware, or agricultural (agri) sectors preferred
- Proven leadership experience within building materials, retail, or a related industry
- Experience managing multiple locations or large-scale operations
- Strong understanding of sales, margin, inventory, and expense management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Results-driven with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
