Job Description\nBitdeer is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to help lead power generation work for Alberta, Canada datacenter projects. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to final execution, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both construction management and electrical or mechanical engineering.

What You Will Be Responsible For
\n

- Project Leadership: Lead project planning, defining scope, developing detailed schedules, and establishing budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and leadership.
\n
- Contractor Management: Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including selection, contract negotiation, and supervision to ensure work adheres to quality standards and specifications.
\n
- Budget & Schedule Oversight: Proactively manage project risks, including budget deviations, schedule delays, and on-site emergencies, ensuring all safety standards and codes are met.
\n
- Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of communication, providing regular project updates and budget reports to internal teams and executive leadership.
\n
- Relationship Management: Foster strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams, contractors, and other external partners.
\n
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
\n
\nRequired Qualifications\n
\n
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
\n
- 8 years experience in construction project management
\n
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificiation
\n
- Solid background in electrical engineering, with experience in medium and low voltage power supply and distribution systems.
\n

- Thorough understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and architectural/engineering drawings
\n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
- Robust problem solving abilities; able to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
\n
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven ability to work flexibly and collaborate effectively in a global team environment
\n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related project management software

\nWorking Conditions\n
\n
- Must be able to traverse all areas of a construction site in various weather conditions
\n
- Ability to travel as required for projects
\n
- Must be on-call to respond to project emergencies, delays, or to coordinate with overseas teams outside of standard business hours
